Bloodhound Gang wiped with Russian flag in Ukraine
After a video of Jared Evil, guitarist of Bloodhound Gang, rubbing the Russian flag against his crotch emerged on the internet, Bloodhound Gang have come under fire from lots of different sectors. It would appear that the band were aware of the backlash their actions would cause as Jimmy Pop, the band’s lead singer, can be heard on the video saying “unfortunately Russia is better than America.”
After their Odessa concert, they were due to perform at KUBANA festival in Anapa, Russia, but they learned on arrival that Russia’s Minster of Culture had intervened, calling them idiots and cancelling the concert. The band’s visas were shortened, and it is believed that they have now left the country.
The following video purportedly shows an attack on Bloodhound Gang in Anapa, but the quality of the footage is very poor:
