Russia will not hand over Edward Snowden to the USA, Lyudmila Alekseyeva believes
The head of the MHG has suggested that the our country could give asylum to the disgraced man behind the scandalous leaks. In addition, Alekseyeva said that she would sympathise with Snowden if he received the status of a political refugee in Russia. She explained this by saying that the situation in terms of freedom of speech in our country and the USA are very different.

The guy made his choice a long time ago – in the name of his ideology (which is not completely clear) he broke his government’s laws. God will judge him.

1) those who have no private life
2) gays. Everyone should know everything about their private lives (they decided that themselves).

I guess it’s (il)logical that Russia who don’t stand on ceremony, particularly in terms of its citizens’ rights has become Snowden’s temporary protector.

Snowden and Assange have done more for human rights around the world in an hour than Alekseyeva’s MHG in the whole time it’s existed. That’s why they’re angry now.
