Putin Has Instructed That Kant’s Works Be Translated

From Echo Moskvy:

Vladimir Putin orders the translation of Immanuel Kant’s works

“It would be possible to publish his works in Russian”, the president said, and added that “it will take time, because it will need to be translated”. RIA Novosti report the president’s statement. However, it was clear from the transcript of Putin’s meeting with the teachers and students at the Kant University in Kaliningrad that the academics were offering to publish the full works of Kant and were seeking funding. The first translations of the works of the German philosopher into Russian took place in the 1860s, and 100 years later, his complete works were published in six volumes.

They’re just churning out Marxist-Kantist propaganda.
What about the Jewish question?

rtp: (responding to above)

In terms of the Jewish question, we need to turn to the Arabs.

as1223:

The first of April was yesterday.

lotina:

Considering that Kaliningrad university will be named after him, it’s not surprising.

aleksandr39:

Putin visited Kaliningrad on the sly, he came in a wig, in a standard class carriage on the Moscow-Kaliningrad train, but some people say they saw a hang-glider flying.

zloy_sok:

Has the Tsar run out of books?

dosenoffner:

Obviously the translation’s not very good. Our leader understands German, but Kant is in Old German, and it’s the devil’s own job trying to understand that …

izvpadini61:

Does Putin really need to decide this? Or should we write it off as an April fool’s joke?

findlay:

Finally!
… we’ll get to Mao Zedong soon! :)

rook:

Who has he “ordered”? With what money? What a load of crap? What was he doing there, nothing? Load of rubbish …
