Bans on Russian Vodka Could be Introduced in Canada

From Echo Moskvy:

The authorities in one Canadian province want to introduce a ban on sales of Russian vodka

This is a response to Russia’s activity in the Ukraine. As local media report, those affected would be the government-owned shops in the Saskatchewan province in southern Canada. Approximately 14% of the population of that region have roots in the Ukraine.

Comments from Echo Moskvy:

Good. You’re better off not drinking vodka at all.

Nothing Russian will be left in the world.

They’ll smuggle it in from the USA.

Nah, they’ll drink Ukrainian Horilka

They drink it already, they just want to ban it for everyone else.

As long as they don’t ban bears with balalaikas

Oh, I’m scared.

Let them ban caviar, Russian boots and samovars too.

We went through this in 1985 :)

Well I won’t go to Canada then)))

Let them ban it. The forbidden fruit is sweetest.
