Penguins Take Over Russian Cities in Viral Ad Campaign

Once the preserve of the Scottish elite, Irn Bru has expanded its market significantly in recent years. Now with five factories in Russia, Scotland’s other national drink (after Scotch whisky, of course) has become a staple in corner shops all over Russia.

In their most recent ad campaign “All’s good with Irn Bru”, penguins from the Irn Bru head office have taken to the metro and shopping centres of St Petersburg to promote the orange liquid. Russian netizens however remain divided on the effectiveness of the campaign.
