Businessman survives an assassination attempt due to the hitman misfiring

The CEO of a St. Petersburg company has escaped death after a hitman misfired. The would-be-killer opened fire in front of CCTV cameras. The surveillance cameras helped investigators in the northern capital by capturing images of the hired killer as he made the unsuccessful attempt to kill the CEO of ‘Regina’, 56 year old Leonid Kolesnikov.

The press office of the Investigative Committee headquarters for the Leningrad Oblast reports that during the shooting, the victim was shot in the arm.

At present, the victim is in a intensive care unit at a city hospital. Doctors say his condition is stable but serious.

They’ve taken him into intensive care. But before that, he was running around and was with the doctors on his own two feet.

Юрий:

Unfortunately, there’s no hospital in Sertolovo [where the shooting took place]. So there’s no way the businessman is in the city hospital.
