Visa-Free Travel Between Russia and Europe to Be Discussed

From Echo Moskvy:

Russia is expecting work on a visa-free travel agreement between Russia and the EU to be discussed as early as the upcoming EU-Russia summit

At any rate, this is what the head of the Interior Ministry Sergei Lavrov says.

Nevertheless, Lavrov said that an agreement would only be a “forerunner” to a visa-free regime.

Comments from Echo Moskvy:

dana24092005:

Is Lavrov going to add a queueless visa-free system for civil servants?

sidorov99: (responding to above)

So they can take money out without being checked. Glory to Russia!

tolik99:

What do we need Europe for? It’s full of black people

ziouzine:

As soon as they introduce it, they’ll cancel it. They’ll look at the flow of tourists out of Egypt and cancel it immediately.

bazilio66:

There’ll not be a visa-free regime for normal people under this government. These corrupt beasts need a special passport letting them travel to Europe without a visa. Once they get that, they’ll stop negotiating.

pro_hanov:

He just wants civil servants to travel without visas on their work passports to Nice and London. That’ll be the “forerunner” and normal people can just stay home.

anton33z:

First we’ve gotta become Europe, not Muscovy… yeah, will there be Caucasian auls in Europe?

paurus:

This Interior Ministry dickhead has been singing the song of visa-free travel for civil servants for 100 years.

uaartm:

The only way to Europe is via Maidan. They’ve even overrun Lenin.

baltazavr:

I don’t think they’ll even let us on the doorstep for another 20 years. We could have climbed in off the back of Ukraine, but it didn’t work out. Maybe we can try again when they let Kazakhstan join.
