Putin Promises to Examine List of 70 “Political” Prisoners

From Echo Moskvy:

Vladimir Putin has promised to look at a list of prisoners the opposition consider to be political prisoners

A list of 70 prisoners was handed to the president by the co-chairman of the RPR Parnas party, Vladimir Ryzhkov at a meeting with Putin and other leaders of non-parliamentary parties in the Kremlin. The head of state also said that he considers the idea of a general amnesty desirable, but it would have to be done correctly. We can’t scare society with this issue, said Putin.

Comments from Echo Moskvy:

Now then, can I remember who I’ve sent to jail? … ah yes, Khodorkovskiy, yeah, Khodorkovskiy…

Well done Ryzhkov, we had to do something.

He’s been looking at this list since before Ryzhkov

Moreover, the list was drawn up by him, in essence.

He’ll look at this list in the toilet, and then use it to wipe himself…

This is just an absolute circus

“Please hold, please hold…”

“Your call is very important to us”, and then one or two hours later, “beep-beep-beep”

He’s preparing for the role of the great benevolent one…
